FW26 - Jackson and Joaquin by Cobey Arner
To mark the arrival of our Fall/Winter 2026 collection, New York-based photographer Cobey Arner has captured the collection in a new editorial shot on the streets of Manhattan. The imagery draws on the same reference points that inform Carter Young’s collections, inspired by the films, literature and imagery of the American cultural canon.
The editorial features friends and collaborators of Arner and casting director Julia Gilmour, all of whom styled themselves for the shoot. Every item and choice reflects the model’s own tastes, and shows how the collection is meant to be worn and reworn, changing over time as it develops a patina of its own. This is reflected in the fabrics, the worn-in textures, sun-faded shirting and vintage-inspired jersey, and the comfortable, soft drape of the collection.
Key pieces from the FW26 collection are highlighted in the editorial, including the Washed Flannel Western Shirt – worn tucked into a pair of tailored trousers – and the 1950s-inspired Andover Jacket. Elsewhere, models showcase Carter Young’s signature tailoring selection, and the shirts and knits of the FW26 season. The way that the clothes are worn shows the collection’s dual influences, the formality of tailoring alongside the faded shirts and softened edges.
